Morning thoughts 9th may 2007

As I was reading i got to those verses from Psalm 103:8-9 and I thought what if I put my name in there?.. is it still true? So this is what came out:

Daniel is merciful and gracious, Daniel is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness. Daniel will not always chide or be contending, neither will Daniel keep His anger forever or hold a grudge.

I admit that there are times when the above is not true for me. I wish it would always be true. And…

(13) As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe]. (14) For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust. Psalm 103:13-14

So, all my hope is in God that will transform me more in every day.

Program to Stimulate Sales at Snowy

For my master degree in Marketing Management, I still have left several projects. One of them is to make a program so stimulate the sales in a company. I get to choose the company. So, I choose a company that I would like to open some day.

I can not talk about the company I work for. So, I had to make up a company. This company’s name, for now, is Snowy. Don’t steal the name people!!! The company produces and sells snowboarding equipment. For my master classes I have to do a project for every subject matter. I did 95% of them on this company that I made up.

Unfortunately, the dead-line for this project is pretty close, and I didn’t do much. Today, I got more serious. So that is why at this hour I am still awake. Pray for me not to get lazy or to have a lot to do at work. I have to finish it by 11th of May. God HELP!!!

Morning thoughts 8th may 2007

And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands. 1st Samuel 17:47

Morning thoughts 7th may 2007

Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 1st Samuel 15:23

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. 1st Samuel 16:7B

(42) You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. (43) Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, (44) and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. (45) For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:42-45

Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24B

Birthday Surprise Party

Yesterday, especially in the evening I wasn’t feeling very good because I didn’t know what to do on my birthday. So, I stayed at work because, anyway, I had something to do. Finally around 10 pm Anda (my sister) said to come home because she has prepared something tasty. I still wanted to stay at work and finish what I had to do, but I am always desirous of cakes. So I went home.

At home… SURPRISE… BIG SURPRISE!!! Anda together with friends prepared me a surprise party. It was very nice of them to come and prepare it all for me. They were a real blessing. They were there… the cake was there… and of coarse the presents. Unfortunatelly I went home rather late, so the people had to wait for me a couple of hours. I am sorry for that. We had cake and talked and had a good time. In the end some of the party friends stayed longer and we enjoyed a nice movie – Modigliani.

My day become bright in one second, as I opened the door of my room. I am very thankful to Anda and to all the friends that came to wish me all the best.

My New Haircut

Finally, after postponing for some while to have a haircut, last week I booked a stylist to get my hair done. In the morning, just after my reading time, I went to have the haircut. They were very nice with me there. Actually as every company should be with their customers. They didn’t rush with me, as I like. Anyway, they asked me if I was in a hurry. I am happy with the result, even if the price was a bit high comparing to the other places where you can go and have a haircut. I think that what I got was more than a haircut, it was something made special for me, for my head and my hair, not something out of a box, but something personalized for my needs. Daniel, the stylist was nice too and we had a little chat, that I usually I do not have with the people that do my hair. I recommend Maviov hair studio, but be prepared with some more cash than usually you do.
