Fairytale Photo Shooting at Botanical Gardens in Iasi

On my birthday (2nd of May), me and Denisa went to the Botanical Gardens in Iasi. We had a very nice time there.

As we were walking the beautiful alleys we saw 2 girls that were taking photos. So, we asked them to take us a photo. I gave them my camera and they started to shoot. They were very nice, because instead of just one shoot, they took rather many photos. Even if it was raining we continued to have fun together.

Enjoy some of the photos we took at Botanical Gardens in Iasi (that I post-processed)

Spiritual Jargon That Does Not Have The Real Meaning Anymore

Image Photo Sunset in Botosani Romania Spiritual Jargon That Does Not Have The Real Meaning Anymore

We get used with the Word of God. We leave the church as we came. Nothing penetrates our heart anymore. We start to joke about God and even to take in vain His name. We become more and more anemic Christians. The temptation is getting bigger and bigger and has more effect on us. Our faith depreciates and we do not actively believe that God has real power. Why does it happen? Continue reading Spiritual Jargon That Does Not Have The Real Meaning Anymore

Photos of My Mother's Flowers from Botosani

For Easter I went to Botosani (Romania) to spend the holidays with my family. Just a few days before I got my new Canon EOS 450D . Going home to Botosani, to see my parents, was also a good opportunity to test my camera. I am really happy with the new acquisition.

Now that I am back in Iasi, I hope to post also the other photos I took. Here are a few photos I took of my mother’s flowers that she has around the house.

Our Path is Well Prepared Before We Step on It

I’ll keep this one brief as I have so many things to do. So, the main idea is that special people are chosen for special tasks by God . Each of us were designed in such a way so that we would fulfill at least one specific purpose in God’s plan. Continue reading Our Path is Well Prepared Before We Step on It

What is the Remedy for Fear? David Was Human Too

When we read the Scriptures or hear the stories from the Bible, we get to believe that we shall never have such a great life like the heroes we read about. At church we are told about how great is that guy or that lady. And we might feel discouraged. Let me tell you something: all those biblical heroes were humans just like me and you .

In the Bible we are also told the mistakes of some of the greatest people that ever existed . Yes, they did stupid things like I do most of the times. They sinned, they were discouraged, they forgot that there is a God, they disobeyed God and His Son – Jesus Christ.

Everyone has his/hers weak points, as I told you before in What should we do with our weak spot(s)? The right question is what are we going to do about them. Continue reading What is the Remedy for Fear? David Was Human Too

Psalm 59 – a praise song of David towards God that was written when Saul send people to besiege his home to kill David

1-2 My God! Rescue me from my enemies,
defend me from these mutineers.
Rescue me from their dirty tricks,
save me from their hit men.

3-4 Desperadoes have ganged up on me,
they’re hiding in ambush for me.
I did nothing to deserve this, God,
crossed no one, wronged no one.
All the same, they’re after me,
determined to get me.

4-5 Wake up and see for yourself! You’re God,
God-of-Angel-Armies, Israel’s God!
Get on the job and take care of these pagans,
don’t be soft on these hard cases.

6-7 They return when the sun goes down,
They howl like coyotes, ringing the city.
Then suddenly they’re all at the gate,
Snarling invective, drawn daggers in their teeth.
They think they’ll never get caught.

8-10 But you, God, break out laughing;
you treat the godless nations like jokes.
Strong God, I’m watching you do it,
I can always count on you.
God in dependable love shows up on time,
shows me my enemies in ruin.

11-13 Don’t make quick work of them, God,
lest my people forget.
Bring them down in slow motion,
take them apart piece by piece.
Let all their mean-mouthed arrogance
catch up with them,
Catch them out and bring them down
—every muttered curse
—every barefaced lie.
Finish them off in fine style!
Finish them off for good!
Then all the world will see
that God rules well in Jacob,
everywhere that God’s in charge.

14-15 They return when the sun goes down,
They howl like coyotes, ringing the city.
They scavenge for bones,
And bite the hand that feeds them.

16-17 And me? I’m singing your prowess,
shouting at cockcrow your largesse,
For you’ve been a safe place for me,
a good place to hide.
Strong God, I’m watching you do it,
I can always count on you—
God, my dependable love.
