Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 1st Samuel 15:23

Birthday Surprise Party

Yesterday, especially in the evening I wasn’t feeling very good because I didn’t know what to do on my birthday. So, I stayed at work because, anyway, I had something to do. Finally around 10 pm Anda (my sister) said to come home because she has prepared something tasty. I still wanted to stay at work and finish what I had to do, but I am always desirous of cakes. So I went home.

At home… SURPRISE… BIG SURPRISE!!! Anda together with friends prepared me a surprise party. It was very nice of them to come and prepare it all for me. They were a real blessing. They were there… the cake was there… and of coarse the presents. Unfortunatelly I went home rather late, so the people had to wait for me a couple of hours. I am sorry for that. We had cake and talked and had a good time. In the end some of the party friends stayed longer and we enjoyed a nice movie – Modigliani.

My day become bright in one second, as I opened the door of my room. I am very thankful to Anda and to all the friends that came to wish me all the best.

My New Haircut

Finally, after postponing for some while to have a haircut, last week I booked a stylist to get my hair done. In the morning, just after my reading time, I went to have the haircut. They were very nice with me there. Actually as every company should be with their customers. They didn’t rush with me, as I like. Anyway, they asked me if I was in a hurry. I am happy with the result, even if the price was a bit high comparing to the other places where you can go and have a haircut. I think that what I got was more than a haircut, it was something made special for me, for my head and my hair, not something out of a box, but something personalized for my needs. Daniel, the stylist was nice too and we had a little chat, that I usually I do not have with the people that do my hair. I recommend Maviov hair studio, but be prepared with some more cash than usually you do.

Volleyball game on Copou

Volleyball in Copou

Today, after I read something from The Consumer Behavior for one of my master projects, I was invited by Denisa to volleyball. All of us met in the park of the Botanical Gardens, on Copou. We were not that many, but we had a good time. This was my first volleyball game for this year, so I wasn’t in shape. But it was a good start.

Our fun was interrupted by 2 guardians that had nothing better to do than to pick on us. They forced us to take off the net we installed. We could have argued with them, but we choose not to. One of them was even smoking, while there is a law that interdicts smoking in that kind of area. After that, we staid there for some time and then left.

OnÂ the way back home we had a nice talk and a relaxing walk. I wait for the next time.

My thoughts

What great love the all mighty God shows to me. When I’m wrong, He disciplines me, teaching me His law. There are no sorrow days, but the days when God wants me to grow. All the life is a BIG blessing, even if sometimes I do not feel very happy. The real happiness, the one that nobody can take it from me, is my joy I find in my Dad. May you always discipline me, and grow me, enlighten my with your law and your love. And when I can not see that you are the one that works at my hart and I become sad, please fill my heart with your knowledge. You are my rock! You are the one that strengthens my feet on the path!

Sunday After Church

Sunday evening, after church was over some youths from church proposed to go out. It was very nice to be invited, for the first time to go out with them. But unfortunately I had to go to the coach stop to pick up the food that my parents sent. So, I went to take the food from the bus. But after that I phoned the guys and asked where they were. Me, my sister and someone else went and meet the others at the palace. Some of the people played hop-scotch. Then we head for the lighted cross that can be seen from the city during the night. It was a great time I enjoyed. Still i have to get used to them before I unleash myself 😀
