Today God had for me only encouraging words. I don’t have any enemies, but God spoke to me about enemies. He told me that irrespective of all the other people that might want my harm, God will rescue me.

Thank you God! Thank you because you are always at work and you warn me in advance. Thank you for your support and for your care.

1 Light, space, zest— that’s God!
So, with Him on my side I’m fearless,
afraid of no one and nothing.

3 When besieged,
I’m calm as a baby.
When all hell breaks loose,
I’m collected and cool.

13-14 I’m sure now I’ll see God’s goodness
in the exuberant earth.
Stay with God!
Take heart. Don’t quit.
I’ll say it again:
Stay with God.

Psalm 27

11 God makes his people strong.
God gives his people peace.

Psalm 29:11

3-5 You’re my cave to hide in,
my cliff to climb.
Be my safe leader,
be my true mountain guide.
Free me from hidden traps;
I want to hide in you.
I’ve put my life in your hands.
You won’t drop me,
you’ll never let me down.

24 Be brave. Be strong. Don’t give up.
Expect God to get here soon.

Psalm 31

Please read those psalms: 27, 28, 29, 31, 35. They are full of encouragements. Maybe you go through hard times and God wants to talk to you.

We Trust in and Boast of the Name of the Lord our God

7 Some trust, in themselves,
in what they have
or what they think that they can do,
but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God,
not in what we have,
neither in out own power.

8 The others are bowed down and fallen,
but we, even if we fall sometimes,
we are risen and stand upright,
by God’s help and mercy.

Who Gets Invited to Dinner at Your Place?

photo I took at home, at my parents house, back in Botosani Romania – grape leaf rolls filled with rice, vegetables and meat and baked and roasted potatoes with scattered garlic, green onion and dill

1 God, who gets invited to dinner at your place?
How do we get on your guest list?

2 "Walk straight,
act right,
tell the truth.

3-4 "Don’t hurt your friend,
don’t blame your neighbor;
despise the despicable.

5 "Keep your word even when it costs you,
make an honest living,
never take a bribe.

"You’ll never get
blacklisted
if you live like this."

Psalm 15

Tu poti TOTUL in Hristos

Da, pe tine… tu esti special in ochii Lui, tu ai pret, tu poti TOTUL in Hristos ! Tu ai TOTUL deplin in El! Fa din EL pasiunea vietii tale si vei fi cel mai fericit din lume aici si in vesnicii!

5 Offer just and right sacrifices;
trust (lean on and be confident) in the Lord.

6 Many say,
Oh, that we might see some good!
But I say
Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O Lord.

7 You have put more joy and rejoicing in my heart
than [they know] when their wheat and new wine have yielded abundantly.

8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.

Psalm 4:5-8

The Everlasting Bread of Life

27 "Don’t waste your energy striving
for perishable food like that.
Work for the food that sticks with you,
food that nourishes your lasting life,
food the Son of Man provides.
He and what He does are guaranteed
by God the Father to last.
"

28 To that they said,
"Well, what do we do then to get in on God’s works?"

29 Jesus said,
"Throw your lot in with the One that God has sent.
That kind of a commitment gets you in on God’s works."

30-31 They waffled:
"Why don’t you give us a clue about who you are,
just a hint of what’s going on?
When we see what’s up, we’ll commit ourselves.
Show us what you can do.
Moses fed our ancestors with bread in the desert.
It says so in the Scriptures:
‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’"

32-33 Jesus responded,
"The real significance of that Scripture
is not that Moses gave you bread from heaven
but that my Father is right now
offering you bread from heaven, the real bread.
The Bread of God came down out of heaven
and is giving life to the world
."

34 They jumped at that:
"Master, give us this bread, now and forever!"

35-38 Jesus said,
"I am the Bread of Life.
The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever.
I have told you this explicitly because even though you have seen me in action,
you don’t really believe me.
Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me.
And once that person is with me,
I hold on and don’t let go.
I came down from heaven not to follow my own whim
but to accomplish the will of the One who sent me
.

39-40 "This, in a nutshell, is that will:
that everything handed over to me by the Father be completed
—not a single detail missed—
and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole.
This is what my Father wants:
that anyone who sees the Son
and trusts who he is
and what he does
and then aligns with him
will enter real life, eternal life.
My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time
."

John 6:27-40

A Life Changing Encounter

I’ve just read about a ordinarily woman that had a encounter that changed her whole life . She was doing something ordinary in an ordinary day , like she did in all the other days.

Like in any other day she went out of her town to get some water. In that times and place people didn’t have current water. Each day, the women had to go to the the wheel, that was outside the town, to take water for the entire day. They were much more eco-friendly in that times. For a family 20 liters was enough, except the animals, that were brought directly to the water.

So, we see the woman going to take water, in the same manner as she always did , like in any other day. But something is different today . There, at the wheel, she sees a man . This man had different clothes than they used to wear in that area – Samaria. Continue reading A Life Changing Encounter

My Repentance Prayer

My Repentance Prayer

1 Have Mercy upon me, O God,
according to Your steadfast love;
according to the multitude of Your tender mercy
and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions.

2 Wash me thoroughly [and repeatedly]
from my iniquity and guilt
and cleanse me and make me wholly pure from my sin!

3 For I am conscious of my transgressions
and I acknowledge them;
my sin is ever before me.

4 Against You, You only, have I sinned
and done that which is evil in Your sight,
so that You are justified in Your sentence
and faultless in Your judgment.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity;
my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful].

6 Behold, You desire truth in the inner being;
make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.

7 Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially];
wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied;
let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

9 Hide Your face from my sins
and blot out all my guilt and iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right, persevering,
and steadfast spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from Your presence
and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation
and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors Your ways,
and sinners shall be converted and return to You.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God,
the God of my salvation,
and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness
(Your rightness and Your justice).

15 O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

16 For You delight not in sacrifice,
or else would I give it;
You find no pleasure in burnt offering.

17 My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God
is a broken spirit;
a broken and a contrite heart
[broken down with sorrow for sin
and humbly and thoroughly penitent],
such, O God, You will not despise
.

Psalm 51:1-17
