The advice of the day – love, build yourselves, pray in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves, patiently wait

34 I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.

John 13:34

20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;

21 Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)–[which will bring you] unto life eternal.

Jude 1:20-21

PS: Lately I do not know why, but I paused posting in here. The easiest excuse would be the lack of time. But, actually it is a lack of planning. I apologize to all my readers. I am sorry

2 Peter 1:3-12

3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all
things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness,
through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him
Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

4 By means of these He has bestowed on us
His precious and exceedingly great promises,
so that through them you may escape [by flight]
from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption)
that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed),
and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.

5 For this very reason,
adding your diligence [to the divine promises],
employ every effort in exercising your faith
to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy),
and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence),

6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control,
and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance),
and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety),

7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection,
and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love.

8 For as these qualities are yours
and increasingly abound in you,
they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful
unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

9 For whoever lacks these qualities is blind,
[spiritually] shortsighted,
seeing only what is near to him,
and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins.

10 Because of this, brethren,
be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast)
your calling and election;
for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.

11 Thus there will be richly and abundantly provided for you entry
into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

12 So I intend always to remind you about these things,
although indeed you know them and are firm in the truth that [you] now [hold].

Se propune Joi, 18 octombrie 2007, ora 18:00 in una din urmatoarele locatii:

  • London Pub
  • Arte Cafe
  • Black Out
  • 5 O’Clock (Moldova Mall, etajul 4)

Andrei prefera Black Out Club si eu la fel.

Se asteapta alte idei, propuneri pentru locatie cat si confirmari pentru a stabili imprena locul final. Astlfel, in functie de numarul celor care vor veni putem stabili mai exact unde va avea loc intalnirea, pentru a avea la dispozitie o capacitate si atmosfera pe masura.

Sunt asteptati bloggeri, oameni din agentii de publicitate, programatori, designeri, dar si oameni care activeaza in media sau cadre universitare. Priviti seara de joi mai mult ca pe o seara de socializare si networking. Nu va fi o tema data deocamdata, nu va fi nimeni care va tine un speach, just talking and networking. Nu e necesar sa stam toti la aceeasi masa. Mobilitatea este permisa cat si permutarile. 🙂

Graphic Design – ARM Developers Conference – Flayer

Recently I created the design of the posters that the company I work for will use at ARM Developers’ Conference. Because the posters had to be printed by the conference organizers, I had to give them the version for print a few weeks prior to the conference.

We, the marketing team, thought that a flyer with a promise would attract more people to our booth. Besides that we hope that the word of mouth to work. The board will be won, after they subscribe the contest and leave us their contact info.

So, today I created two versions of the flyer. Have a look bellow and please let me know which one you like best .
